The San Andres Huipil is handmade by the indigenous Tsotsil community of Los Altos Chiapas. The neck and sleeves are embroidered separately in brocade and then attached to the hand-loomed pieces to form the beautiful huipil. The material is a thick Telar fabric of 100% cotton.
It can be used by itself or paired with a gauze skirt, as shown in the pictures. Skirts are sold separately.
